Who We Are

All wood used for each mic and dulcimer are crafted with air dried wood.

Hand carving while sitting under a tree, to producing bullet mics is the short version of how Front and Center came to be.  Scott has been a Dental Technician for 35 years.  The trade prepared him well for the detailed precision needed when crafting mics or instruments.  He enjoys the hands on aspect of both crafts, and takes pride in producing a product that sounds great, looks great and is enjoyed by the musician.

From under the tree in his front yard, to a fully equipped wood shop, Scott continues to craft bullet mics.  Before the bullet mics, he first crafted dulcimers in his father-in- laws garage. The picture to the left is the first dulcimer he made.  Since the beginnings of Front and Center,  the G-rig, G-rack and Dulcimers have been added to his line of products.

Going back a few years, Scott played in a local band, and presently enjoys playing with family, friends and occasionally at his local church, where he also runs the sound board.

While Scott is the inventor, designer and builder in the shop, his wife Lynne takes on the role of shipping, bookkeeping and communications.  She'll  be happy to answer any questions you may have!
